Shading complete

I have finished the shading on two of my angels. I need to have these in the post by Friday latest so they reach their destination in time for Christmas. Next step is the wings and clothing, finishing touches to the background and voila - they'll be complete. I'm still trying to decide what to use for the wings - there are a few options I am considering: fantasy film (which I have never used before), some glittery opaque fabric, or painting them and using some Perfect Pearls. What a dilemma - any insights welcome - or additional suggestions (not too many though - I get confused when offered too many choices - keep it simple, LOL). For your information, these are both 8"x10" canvases.

Lovely girls Brenda. Have you thought about some gold Lumier paint. It is thin, so will leave some of the background visible. I have other ideas, but I'll leave you with just this one so not to confuse you.

Brenda,

Your shading is lovely. I like the idea of fabric, maybe lace.

I recently saw (please don't ask me where) a painting with wings made out of venetian plaster or stucco. That might be a bit heavier than you have in mind, but I thought it was clever.

beautiful!
I was hoping you may have some ideas for me about my canvas-I want to add a quote and maybe a title (some kind of words anyways) but not sure how I should do that? The letter stamps I have are tiny ones, could I write over the paint you think? I'm going to ask over at Milliande's too-hopefully by the time I get her painted I'll know what to do next:)
thanks!!
Trish

I forgot to keep track of what paints I mixed for her face-but I guess I'll just play with it again!right now I just have a blue background-nothing is coming to me yet!

Brenda, she positively glows. Great background too and yes, I still love the hair.

She is great!! Love her. Let's see for the wings....choices choies--I am sure whatever you choose will be nice. Blog it when you are finished!

Hey Brenda

Thanks so much for the award... very sweet.

The hair and shading are coming along wonderfully... it is hard when you have too many choices. I use a stamp with some helicopter seeds (not sure if this is the proper term for them, in fact I know it isn't the proper name) for my girls wings.

will be interesting to see what you come up with... looking forward to seeing the final pieces.

your paintings are so pretty-when are you going to sketch some landscapes again? I loved the one you posted awhile back:)
