You've got mail!

While I was eating my lunch at home today the parcel post lady knocked on my door with a large parcel. Yes, it was my birthday present from my husband, my tin of 84 neocolor II crayons. How exciting to see all the beautiful colors - can't wait to play with them.

I'm so jealous! I only have the set of 10 with a few extra that I purchased separately. You are going to LOVE these. They can be used on/in so many mediums!

what a GREAT present!! looks like you will be having tons of fun playing with those:) I've never tried them before-what are they like? and when is/was your birthday? Happy birthday if I missed it! I'm sitting here waiting for my watercolors to dry so I came by to start on that tag-talk to you later!
oh yeah, I had an idea I was thinking about-I bought a book about art journals not long ago and it had a part in it about some ladies who exchanged journals back and forth, they each had one and I guess they just took turns exchanging them and working in each others journals and when they were done they each had a full journal with both of their work in it-I thought maybe a few of us (if anyone is interested) could do something like that? I really can't afford to even mail anything out right now, but after Christmas, first of the year sometime......what do you think? you are the first person I talked to about it-wanted to get your input-In the book it says each lady learned techniques from the other and "played off each others ideas" just thought it sounded fun and a good way to learn more about each other!

I am insanely jealous! That is an amazing birthday present. And that sounds like an amazing husband. I am loving the ones that I bought (just a handful), I do have a set of another brand and they just don't react the same. Thanks for stopping by The Bodhi Chicklet and leaving that nice comment. I am glad you found it entertaining! And I will be posting more art work as I get it completed.
