Dream Girl finished

Yes, the "Dream Girl" is finally finished. Just added the finishing touches today. The quote says "Dreams are free, so free your dreams" by Astrid Alauda. I am really happy with the way she turned out and can't wait to get started on the next ones - I have already prepped the canvasses. I figure if I get into it straight away, I am more likely to remember the techniques Paulette taught in the classes.
Oh, and this portrait is my submission for the November challenge of "lace" at Embrace the Face. Make sure you check out the fantastic artwork there.

Awesome job Brenda. Yes, keep going. Paulette's techniques were wonderful, but you'll pick up more of your own techniques and style as you continue. I especially love your Dream Girl's eyes.

thank you:) I know it will work out-and no matter what, I KNOW that things are changing for the better-I'm so tired right now-it's almost 5:30am, so I can't think to write anymore, but I will talk to you soon! I did get the movie tickets, and I'm glad-we need this night out, just to have fun!! now if i can just get some sleep so I don't fall asleep at the movie!

Wow! You are quick. I admire that in a blogger! Or in anyone, except a tax collector. ; )
Hope your weather is terrific. Ours is cold and dark right now.

thanks-yes, things are looking up:) and we had so much fun tonight (the movies were crazy, they were remodeling, you should have seen the crowd, a definite fire hazard there, everyone trying to leave through one door and enter at same time-we had to wait half an hour to even get past the ticket booth!! but it was fun-we are going to do it more often!!) how's your day been? I'm getting pretty sleepy, so I am going to grab a book and go to bed
talk to you later!
