World of Whimsy

Hi Bloggers, I'm back in the land of the living, well my mind is willing, my body is weak, but I need to get back to work to earn some money to pay some bills - which pour in at this time of the year. A new school year commences in just two weeks and that means school fees, stationery, updating outgrown uniforms, bus tickets, well you get the idea. It was $165 just for a calculator for eldest son's math class, eeek. I'm still a little dizzy, but hopefully I'll be OK. Guess what, I've signed up for another on line class, how exciting. It is called World of Whimsy being run by Willowing. Check it out here. I haven't done an on line class since Paulette's faces class and I enjoyed and learnt so much from that. It doesn't start for a while yet so I have plenty of time to finish my 120 fat book technique pages that I need to do by the end of January. I have nothing to show you, I haven't had the energy to even pick up a pencil, let alone do anything with it, but I am hopeful I will get back into the swing of things this week. Thanks for all your well wishes while I was sick.

Welcome back, Brenda,

Can't wait to see what you are working on when you are able.

I removed my first comment because I left a word out.

Hi Brenda,

Glad to see that you are feeling better.

The Willowing class sounds like fun. I hope you enjoy it and get a lot out if it. Tamara has wonderful videos on Youtube so I'm sure it will be a great class.

By the way, even though it sounded like I was complaining about too much (art) input out there, I really love it. That's why I want to do it all. Although I love most challenges I usually only tackle what resonates with me.

Enjoy your class.

Well, hellooooo there! Time to go out and make the bacon, huh? We'll still be here when you're ready to post something, anything - a sketch, an idea. Be kind to yourself this week.

so glad you are feeling better! I was hoping to be able to sign up for that class too, but not sure yet-Nate's birthday is coming up too, so we'll see:)
(I never did do anything with the other class I bought! Maybe I need a "live' class to learn painting? or maybe I just need to go back and start with the 1st video again!
well, take care, I'll stop by again soon!

I so hope that you continue to get better. You sound as though you've been SO sick. I always panic when that happens because, like you, I always have way too many art commitments. Congratulations on the new online class. It looks awesome.
