Happy New Year

Wishing all my family and friends a very happy new year. I'm hoping I can turn the corner creatively and make the time to do what I enjoy. I have joined the Sketchbook Challenge - which is drawing in my sketchbook every day of the year, hmmm, wonder how I'll go with that.

I am also going through all the lessons for the Texture Town course I signed up for so expect to see some of my work in progress.

Hopefully I haven't over-committed myself - wish me luck and I wish you all the very best with your own creative endeavours.

You can now click on "Texture Town" to be taken to all the information about it. It is only $59 and is well worth it. You use a limited palette of colors, inspired by nature/weathering - the colors work so well together. The class is fantastic - it is all about abstracts - not creating backgrounds though you could use the methods to do that but would need to be careful where you wanted your focus to be.
