Happy New Year

Wishing all my family and friends a very happy new year. I'm hoping I can turn the corner creatively and make the time to do what I enjoy. I have joined the Sketchbook Challenge - which is drawing in my sketchbook every day of the year, hmmm, wonder how I'll go with that.

I am also going through all the lessons for the Texture Town course I signed up for so expect to see some of my work in progress.

Hopefully I haven't over-committed myself - wish me luck and I wish you all the very best with your own creative endeavours.

Hi Brenda,

I'm so excited to have you blogging again.

Tell me more about the Texture Town course....

You can now click on "Texture Town" to be taken to all the information about it. It is only $59 and is well worth it. You use a limited palette of colors, inspired by nature/weathering - the colors work so well together. The class is fantastic - it is all about abstracts - not creating backgrounds though you could use the methods to do that but would need to be careful where you wanted your focus to be.

Hi Brenda
been waiting for you to exhale and pick up your art tools again...its in your blood like me LOL.Thanks for stopping by my blog too.The Kimberley and Broome areas are amazing.I hope you do get up here to see it for yourself one day.
